TRC ‐ Transporter Ready Cells (Human Epithelial Cell Lines)

Epithelial cells exert a barrier function in the human body and thereby determines the fate of chemicals and drugs in absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME). To investigate the uptake of compounds and tissue specific toxicity is a critical step in the drug development process. To assess the ADME profile in vitro, acCELLerate provides a set of cell lines from skin, lung, liver, and kidney in assay ready format. ciPTEC and ciPTEC‐OAT cells were developed and licensed from Cell4Pharma, NL.
